TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions set out below are between “you” (the buyer) and “Blinds Outlet/us/our/we” (the seller) for the contract entered into when using and purchasing from the Blinds Outlet website. Please read, understand and accept before using and purchasing from the Blinds Outlet website.
Entering into the contract
You agree to our terms and conditions when you complete a purchase from our website.
Blinds Outlet reserves the right to change the price of any items listed for sale on the website at any given time. When you complete your order, you agree the price shown. Sales or promotions after this cannot be honoured on orders already completed.
Discount codes can be amended or deleted at any time without notice. We will endeavour to give a time limit on our codes however this may not always available. Discount will be applied at checkout. Only one code can be used at one time.
Blinds Outlet reserves the right to cancel orders that have a pricing error, that have been requested to be delivered to a place we cannot deliver to or if our stock levels do not allow for us to fulfil. If any of the mentioned do happen we will contact and refund you ASAP. All orders that include made to measure/custom sized goods are exempt for the right to cancel. You will not be able to cancel your order after it has been placed and paid for. Please notify us of any sizing errors immediately so we can try and inform the manufacturers before your order is completed, however this cannot be guaranteed.
We cannot be responsible for you providing us with the incorrect sizing for you blinds, please ensure you have read and understood the measuring and ordering guides so that you can be confident when giving specifications. If your order arrives to you and believe there has been an error in manufacture, please contact us immediately to allow us to resolve.
Descriptions & Images
We endeavour to ensure all product descriptions are accurate and correct at the time of order. Due to the screen resolution variations on different devices, we cannot guarantee that the image on your screen will be 100% true to colour, which is why we strongly advise you use our free sample ordering service.
Please check each individual product descriptions for the manufacturing guidelines and qualities on each blind. Please allow for a 10% colour variation on the blinds from the samples. Please ensure you do not fit PVC or faux wood blinds in rooms that exceed temperatures of 55 degrees Celsius, such as conservatories as the blind will begin to warp.
We endeavour to have orders manufactured within 2 weeks, however, sometimes stock levels and busy periods may mean that manufacture time exceeds this. If the dispatch time is going to be more than 2 weeks, we will contact you to advise you and for you to decide how you would like to proceed with your order. Some items can be manufactured faster for an additional charge. Please contact us directly for further information on these items.
Once your item(s) have been dispatched we will email you with your delivery details and tracking information. The courier we use will normally deliver to you within 2 working days. These items will require a signature upon delivery. If there is no one at the delivery address when the courier attempts delivery the driver may try a neighbour. If the delivery attempt fails, then the item(s) will be taken back to the depot. If you do not arrange alternative arrangements, then the courier will automatically re-attempt the next working day. If two attempts fail the delivery will be held at the courier depot for collection and you will be given an allocated time in which to collect the item. If you fail to collect the order, then the item(s) may be delivered back to the manufacturer and you may not be entitled to a refund because the goods will be custom made to your requirements. You may need to pay additional delivery costs to have the order redelivered. There may be certain areas in the UK that we cannot deliver to such as Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and offshore Islands. In the event we receive orders for these areas we will contact you to let you know we have cancelled your order and issued a full refund.
You are welcome to return any unopened, unused standard size products. Please return to Blinds Outlet, 2 Fleming Road, Corby, Northamptonshire, NN17 4SW and include your delivery note. The customer is responsible for the returns cost. We will refund upon receipt within 1 working days the product cost minus any outbound delivery charges paid.
We do not accept returns of made to measure/custom sizes goods and we are not obligated to under the distance selling regulations. Any items returned cannot be refunded under this contract and you may be asked to make arrangements to collect goods you have attempted to return to us.
Damages upon delivery
If your item is damaged upon delivery please sign for the item as ‘damaged’, take images and email us immediately to allow to raise a claim with the courier and arrange for a like for like replacement to be manufactured and delivered to you.
We may run competitions via social media. We reserve the right to withdraw these competitions at any time. We will give the terms, condition and end date of each competition when we announce, The winner will be contacted within 30 days and will receive their prize within 30 days. Employees, friends and family of employees are exempt from entering, Over 18’s only in the UK Mainland can enter.
All of our blinds have child safety features which have been approved by trading standards and are in accordance with the BBSA regulations. Please follow the manufacture fitting guides to ensure these features are enabled.
All of our products come with a 12-month warranty as standard. If your item becomes faulty after 6 months we will ask for images and supporting evidence that the fault is due to manufacture fault and not due to misuse. If we are satisfied the item is faulty through no fault of your own, we will replace with a like for like replacement, free of charge.
